After attaining her master’s degree, Tashima sought to start her new career in the accounting field. However, she struggled for years trying to land her dream job. Taking in small assistant roles for minimal pay in-between time, she would eventually catch her big break when she was offered a job at Emory University.She worked diligently for the company until 2020 when she was surprisingly fired from the position. This meant starting over again. This time however, she set her sights on entrepreneurship. Tashima started an accounting business, KSK Tax and Accounting Solutions, and within the first 9 months, the business generated over 6 figures.
After a few years, the business was flourishing, however she began to feel unfulfilled in her work. She had always gone the extra mile with her clients by assisting them with things outside the realms of accounting including entreperneurship, business development, & marketing. She realized she had a higher purpose bigger than accounting; she realized she could do even more by guiding career professionals who wish to be entreprenuers.
Tashima now serves as a business coach who creates pathways for career professionals to improve their lives by establishing success through business.
